Drew Dawson / Founding Coach
A former Division I point guard and member of the Lafayette College team that won the 1999 Patriot League Tournament championship and appeared in the 2000 NCAA Tournament, Drew Dawson, is the founding coach and director of Project Triple Threat. Drew spent nearly a decade coaching at the NCAA Division I level and in Europe. In 2011, he was labeled a DI America East Conference Top 5 Assistant Coach by current ESPN basketball writer, Jeff Goodman, for his efforts as an assistant men’s basketball coach at the University of Hartford. The 2012-2013 University of Hartford team went on to appear in the postseason for the first time as a Division I program. Prior to Hartford, Drew was instrumental in assembling the Lafayette College teams that made consecutive Patriot League Tournament championship game appearances in 2010 and 2011. Coach Dawson also serves as an advisor to the Global Sports Academy, an organization that uses a sports-based platform to promote international competition, professional development, and Goodwill across three continents. He's helped facilitate opportunities overseas for numerous players, who made the transition from college to a professional playing career abroad. Drew is currently faculty and head coach at Choate Rosemary Hall, a member of the New England Prep League.

Charlie Fyffe / Coach
Charlie relocated to CT from Melbourne to pursue a coaching career in the States after coaching at numerous levels in Australia, ranging from junior nationals to semi-professional seniors. Coach Fyffe was formerly involved in the Australian State program, Victoria Metro, and served as assistant coach for the Australian U19 State Championship Men’s team under the direction of Alan McAughtry while overseeing one of the Australian National Performance satellite programs -- designed to evaluate and develop the country’s next generation of representative players.
Rob Ruys / Coach
Rob brings more than a decade of coaching experience to Project Triple Threat. He's currently the varsity head boys basketball coach at Lyman Hall HS in Wallingford, CT. Prior to his duties as varsity head coach, Rob acted as the freshman head coach/ varsity assistant. Coach Ruys is no stranger to the grassroots basketball circuit. Since 2002, Coach Ruys has coached various AAU teams winning 5 State Championships while taking 3 teams to the National AAU Championship Tournament.
Zack Sandberg / Operations
Zack joined PTT in the spring of 2016 as an intern and has been an integral part of the program's development. Coach Sandberg serves in day-to-day operations and assists with key initiatives including the recruitment of student-athletes for our select teams and content creation. A 2015 graduate of Vermont Academy, Zack is pursing a BS at the University of Delaware.
